ATL aquarium waterproofing
Aquarium Technology Ltd have succesfully completed the on site water proof lining the largest concrete aquarium exhibit in the UK’s newest public aquarium in Skegness.
Fit out works are now complete and the ATL technician team have finished applying the ATL aquarium waterproofing using GRP composite tank lining systems to the ocean tank structure in preparation for the installation of the large acrylic viewing panels. GRP composite is ATL’s preferred aquarium waterproofing system as it provides a hard wearing, protective and impervious coating in the most demanding fish tank situations. Using only the highest quality polyester resin systems ensures that ATL’s tanking systems are suitable for long term submersion, durable and remain resistant to the rigours of any 365 – 24/7 commercial aquarium operation.
To further compliment the aquarium attraction, ATL’s in house team have been busy building a series of stunning prefabricated aquatic displays for the Skegness project. These were hydrotested at our factory before being packed ready for delivery to site. Further details will be posted on the Aquarium Technology Ltd Facebook or via ATL’s LinkedIn pages.
